T+T Ngāti Tama Scholarship

The T+T Ngāti Tama scholarship offers a Ngāti Tama member who is passionate about ecology and biodiversity to study a Bachelor of Science.

 

Kei te hiahia mātou ki ōu pūkenga

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Tama and Tonkin + Taylor are looking for a person who has whakapapa to Ngāti Tama and is passionate and enthusiastic about kaitiakitanga and the environment. You'll have an enquiring mind and great interpersonal skills.

Kei te whakapono mātou ki tō whanaketanga

This scholarship will support the successful recipient to study a Bachelor of Science, majoring in ecology and biodiversity, at the University of Waikato. You'll start studying in 2024 and gain practical work experience over the summer breaks while you study.

This scholarship includes:

  • $30K over the course of your studies to support paying fees and a stipend while you study
  • A paid summer internship at Tonkin + Taylor over the summer
